I’ve had Columbia gear before so I knew going into my purchase that these would be great. When they arrived I expected a break-in period but they have been comfortable right from the first time wearing them. I do incline walking for cardio and threw these on for an hour long session right out of the box with absolutely no discomfort. They are relatively light and should hold up well. My last pair of Columbia all terrain sneakers lasted me about 5yrs of regular use - I expect something similar for these.

These boots are awesome! They’re surprisingly light for their size. They’re pretty comfortable too. They do run a bit big, so I had to get a half size smaller. I’ve been wearing them mostly for winter, and they’ve got great traction. I haven’t had any issues slipping. They keep my feet warm and dry, which is perfect for the cold weather.

This is the second pair of these I’ve ordered. The first pair lasted about 2,000 miles of hiking and remained waterproof. They are very comfortable and relatively light. I cleaned them with saddle soap and that kept them in good condition.

The weight is perfect and they look great, i don't question Columbia as a brand, they're excellent and the quality is exceptional, but had to return them because as soon as i put them on i felt them tight on the sides and started hurting my archs. All my shoes are size 13 (normal), but a 13 (Wide) on these would of made a difference for me i guess. Other that this, there's a lot of space for the toes and feels good on the heels, they were easy to put on and take off and very comfortable to tie compared to others, very well cushioned on the bottom and padded on the sides, and the shoe toe is flexible enough while being protective against a common hit.

The media could not be loaded. I love these boots hands down. I previously had the dark brown ones that I bought from Academy 4 years ago!! I definitely put them to heavy use over that time. I went hiking and camping often and even did a month long camping trip with them to the Rockies every summer. The bottom soles were barely worn out after almost 4 years of regular use! I got the much cooler looking black ones this time. Hopefully they last as long as my last pair. Academy has them for almost $100. Got them for about $74 on here. These boots are perfect right out of the box. Super comfortable and no break in period required. Super light weight and nig bulky looking. The grip is pretty darn good under most circumstances and the waterproofing is pretty good in shallow water.

Awesome look and comfort level. However, within one week both boots developed a squeak that won't go away. As soon as the heel contacts any hard surface, it squeaks from the rubber sole area, not the inside of the boot. No level of scuffing the sole with sandpaper gets rid of the squeak, so any time you are walking on a hard surface, people are staring at you. Must be a really cheap rubber material they used fore the sole. Needless to say, I will never be buying Columbia boots again. And if I were you, I would NOT buy these boots.
