I’ve always wanted this style of boot for winter trekking but couldn’t ever bend on the price. For years I’ve gone with the knock offs. The price hit super low on these and I had to grab a pair. The quality is as you would expect out of any Columbia footwear. And when I slipped my foot in it was like walking in a cloud. Not too wide and felt just right in a pair of wool socks. I purchased these due to reviews (professional, not Amazon buyers) warmth and comfort. It is unreal how comfy these things are and although being high boots, how easy it is to slip the foot in and out. I almost want to wear them when it's not cold (but rainy/muddy) just based on that. I will say the foot support seems semi flat and my feet got tired just wearing these to break in a bit while unpacking furniture and moving storage bins around. (then again, I've had some foot issues during my move so may be unfair to say). Still, i got the "Disney foot ache" feels from wearing these and using thsee just a cuple hours. This coudl also be that the boots are slightly a size up from comfort, but i'd rather that than a tight squeeze to get these on/off when it gets more inclimate. (im' new to this). So I love them and appreciated the "try before you buy" and bought immediately after slipping them on. ... show more
