Bought or my 13 year old son for a school trip. He needed a lightweight jacket that would protect him the rain without making him too hot while walking around all day. This fit the bill perfectly. The price was a tad high for as thin and light as the jacket is but you pay for the brand I guess.

This product did my child and his various layers from thin to think well, keeping him mostly dry (he is prone to sticking his hands deep in water, so that's his issue, not the coat's). My biggest disappointment is that the colors are dark and there is no reflective tape on it. When it gets dark at four my child is dry, but not visible on the street. If he ever got lost on a hike, it'd be impossible to see him in the the understory. I wish the colors available were brighter and that there was reflective tape on it. This is not a problem specific to Columbia, I found few choices with adequate visibility and think it should be standard on children's clothing. ... show more
