This product is similar to many for sale on Amazon...it's a good product at a good price, but none that I have tried are as opaque as I would have liked. You can still see though a single layer fairly well, especially if the area behind the screen is well-lit. I used it as a privacy screen over an existing chain link fence in our backyard to help shield our yard/pool area from passerby. It went up pretty easily, but I doubled the fabric in a few very open areas with no bush/tree coverage to get more effective screening. Overall, I would recommend it for cost and general efficacy, but just don't expect total blockage/privacy from a single layer. It's (obviously) still much, much cheaper than a full privacy fence. ... show more

I have ornamental fencing. But when my Dobermans see the people walking in the next yard they go crazy. They don’t react to sound of them just the sight. We hoped by putting this up on that one side it would help and it has worked wonders. Very happy with the results and have this on 75” of fence. Honestly, i was alittle worried about the negative comments i read but so very happy to have gotten this!! You cannot see through it at all, everything lined up, everything was in the package, and the color is just as described. Now i did end up ordering metal zip ties as was recommended. I did get the 5x50 for the fence and a 4x12 for the gate. My gate actually runs 11.5 ft in length. As for the fence, it is 5ft tall but we have hotwire at the bottom and had to go above that so that is why it is pulled over the top ... show more

I have dogs and they love to bark whenever the neighbors are out. With wood pricing inflated I needed a quick but modern solution. This black privacy screen was it! The dogs hardly bark now because they can’t see through it very well. My husband and I installed it together in 30 minutes. I would suggest two people for install to make sure you get it tightly ziptied. It’s held up against wind and lots of sun with 0 fading or tears. We used this on our high school baseball fence for a batter’s eye effect along with providing some wind resistance for our sponsorship signs. So far it has withstood the spring winds and the summer sun. Will see if it is good shape next spring for baseball season.
