This is a great rain barrel! It was easy to set up and it’s very sturdy. It fills up with one rainfall and doesn’t have any leaks. I’ve had it for a year now with absolutely no issues. I needed to contact customer service and they replied quickly and were very helpful.

Design flaw, plastic fittings are not setup to endure tension. Another reviewer brought it up, tried to tighten to the spigot because it had a leak, mind you this is new, apply tension and the plastic fitting cracks. It's poorly engineered best to have gone with the same type of connection for the overflow outlet. I have two other collapsible rain water barrels that are holding up just fine, I will have to seal this hole with my own engineering work. Then it can be used again.

With the winter storms in SoCal right now I thought I'd do double duty saving water for watering later and keeping my front area from being a drowned mess. Unfortunately my yard still became a drowned mess, because this barrel got FULL. Relatively simple to set up. Be gentle pushing the PVC pipe supports together - I fit them together then used a hammer on the foot to push the pipes together firmly. Also be gentle feeding them into the lining as they fit VERY snug. It's been a week with the barrel at full capacity with no sign of leakage or support failure yet. Concerns so far: The hose connection at the bottom requires a 3/4" Quick Connect female connector. They are not widely available in the US so be aware. The mesh at the top will not keep out mosquitos. Consider getting some finer mesh to fit on top. Edit March 3rd 2026: lowered my rating after 3 months of use as the hose connector at the bottom critically failed and dumped 30 gallons of water. The vinyl is fine but apparently the part you have to screw in is GLUED? and the whole part popped off.
