I ordered this at 47" Vintage finish, on sale for $59, and I didn't notice until after that it was only 19" deep(front to back). That's my mistake for not checking. The product looks amazing. Arrived in perfect shape despite a hole in the box (probably my delivery driver). The table top has a nice smooth finish, all the parts were ready to go and easy to assemble, even if you're alone, although a second person helps a lot though. I decided to keep it because it's a great-looking and space-saving surface to use even if I don't use it for a computer desk. I'm still ambivalent on that, because of one thing-the top piece is rather flexible, even with the included brace underneath of it. All the legs and the brace are hollow aluminum, I believe, as I dented some of them just tightening up screws. It keeps the item very light-weight though, probably less than 20lbs. If I was the seller I would look at a stiffer cross-brace underneath the top. I may add a solid board, personally. Regardless, it's a good desk and a nice fit for a slim area. I would personally recommend this as the L-shape addition or multi-use desk, feels a bit too slim for heavy pc gaming/equipment. Would probably be great for a laptop though, or a one-monitor setup with the tower on the edge over a leg 5 stars because despite being kind of flimsy even with the brace, and legs are a bit too easy to bend, desk has a great price (on sale $30 off at least), great appearance, and comes in multiple sizes for different usages. ... show more

I actually very much like this desk. Its design is simple only 2 sizes of screws that you can use an included tool to tighten. I was able to put it together in about 10 minutes by myself. The hardest part was putting the top on. I ended up putting it across a sofa. This put it at a easier level to work on than doing it on the floor. Then I just flipped it over. This is not really a desk for a small space. it is to long to be considered SMALL. That said with a length of 55 inches I would have thought it would at least be 24 inches deep. That was on me though I should have looked closer at the listing. It is light enough to move without a problem however seems more than stable enough. The directions give it a 110-pound weight limit. Given the build quality. I would trust that figure. If you plan to add more consider adding an extra support brace under it. near the front and back. I did leave the headphone hook off. Personally, I think that is a bit of a waste. The one thing I would STRONGLY suggest. If you have floors that are easily scratched. Get some pads for the floor legs. The feet on this one are ok for leveling purposes. However they are just molded plastic without any felt or anything on the bottom so they could gouge or scratch some flooring types. While I do plan to use this for a computer desk. It would also make a great counter table up against a wall to put things like a microwave or appliances on if you don't have enough counter space in your kitchen. ... show more

As a broke 19 year old in a minimum wage job living in my first apartment, I was by no means looking for quality in this desk. Just a nice looking CHEAP place to work. It's definitely both of those things, but it's also FAR sturdier than I would have guessed and more durable than I would ever expect from this price range. Also super easy to assemble! Nothing was wrong with the desk, its parts, or its packaging. The price point is more than fair for this. Assembly was not hard at all. I was able to do it myself with no issues. The five-page instruction booklet was nicely laid out and easy to follow. Corresponding letters and numbers on the parts were a plus for me. The letter and number stickers lifted right off the pieces - no sticky glue. I think it would take up too much space in a dorm, loft or studio apartments. It is sturdy and beautiful.
