I’ve had a pair of Cole Haan loafers for nearly a decade, but they’ve gotten a bit shabby, so I ordered these to replace them since they look quite similar. These are nice looking well-made loafers, but I had to return them because the vamp - the part of the shoe that comes up from the toe area to cover the top of the foot - was much too long and high on my foot. I couldn’t slide my foot into the shoe no matter how hard I tried, even though I ordered the size I always wear. Loafers should allow you to just slide your foot into the shoe easily with no struggle. ... show more

I purchased these shoes for work. I work downtown and it’s a lot of walking so flats are a requirement at this point. I love the look but the shoe makes a noise each time I step. very comfortable, soft, stylish, but my feet are very fussy. When I walk, my socks slide gradually into the shoes and bunch up around my arches. That looks very funny. The only way I can wear these shoes at this time is without socks. And I am a sock nut.

Super comfortable and stylish for wearing at work all day. I put in a LOT of steps every day at work and these shoes are up to the task. They are comfortable out of the box and do not require a "breaking in" period. I LOVE these shoes!!
