I have worn 3 pairs of these shoes, and each last about a year. However, in that year I am walking about 15,000 steps a day in them. They hold up to the test of time, and I only change them as they start to lose the grip on the bottom.

This is a trendy looking shoe that strikes the balance between being sporty, yet being classy enough to double as smarter footwear. Especially valuable for wear in a business-casual environment where subtle style, good looks, and practicality of walking comfort intersect. Cole Haan is an excellent choice for people needing dynamic footwear. The design is utterly stunning and few shoes come close to this level of detail. The use of color also ensures that whether you're wearing blue, black, or brown clothing articles and/or accessories, the shoes will match. While this scores off the charts on looks, it is a little lackluster on comfort for people with wider feet. The shoe stylishly tapers to the front, which after hours (or miles) or wear, can leave the broader footed feeling like their toes are in a bind. However, if you aren't going to be traversing the entire city in a day, your feet should fare just fine. People with slighter feet may very well not encounter this issue. The shoes come recommended, provided you know how you will use the shoes and what your foot anatomy is. In my case, I'm a US size 11 and ordered an 11. They fit well and wear snugly, until I walk further than a mile, then the toes begin to feel tight.

OK, I live in New Mexico. The weather is very dry and reasonably warm, even during wintertime, when it doesn't snow. Despite being made out of mesh, these shoes aren't really breathable. They don't work for me in the summer but are great for the rest of the year if worn with heavy socks. I need the socks as the fit is too loose otherwise. I really like the look of the shoes and how light they are. They aren't suitable for the outdoors but are very comfortable when shopping. They aren't my preferred driving shoes, but you can drive with them. I have owned these shoes for two years, and they still look new. They work great for me, but, I should warn you, I am over seventy years old.
