What I like most about these shoes was they required little or no break in. They were comfortable right out of the box. Living mostly in Florida and a few months in California, where shorts, T-shirts, and sneakers will suffice 95% of the time, I need a shoe that is comfortable but also looks good and can be worn with slacks and a sport jacket or a suit. The shoes were delivered to California and I was hesitant to wear them on the flight to the East. Changing planes in Chicago can be a long walk, and even longer with shoes that hurt your feet. I took leap of faith and wore them. They were perfect. I also wore them for the entire next week for business and in Newark Airport, where I walked more than 1.7 miles. No pain. No sore feet. I even wore them on the flight. These will be my "go to" dress shoes for everything other than a very dressy semi-formal occasion or with a tuxedo. I tried Samuel Hubbard shoes and they caused foot pain and discomfort if I had to walk any distance. I can't give a high enough rating for the Zerogrand. One more thing. I use hard orthotics in all of my shoes, including sneakers. They worked beautifully with the Zerogrands and I did not have to remove the inner sole. Best comfortable dress shoe ever. ... show more

These shoes arrived the wrong size. The second pair of cole haan shoes I ordered that came this way. The box shoes the correct size but the shoes were both wrong sizes ordered. Besides that the correct sizes are great!!
