This was a good value for what you get in the kit. It does come with silicone, while I wouldn't say beginner friendly but something to have to practice getting use to the product. The bruise wheel made the whole kit. I compared it to my Mehron bruise wheel and it's a good alternative.

My first time trying this FX. No instructions included, which would’ve been very helpful. I just tried to figure out the steps by what made sense. I didn’t know how to use some of the items. Overall, my kids will have fun with this for Halloween.

Had some mixed results with the putty staying too soft, but it was easier to mix with darker skin tones then anything else I've tried so far. The rest of the set worked decently enough, it isn't super moisture resistant and might not work well if you are expecting to sweat

This is a great kit for beginners. The products don’t have a strong smell and it comes with everything you need to experiment with FX looks. My only criticism is that it doesn’t come with instructions. That would be nice and make it easier for novices learning how to use the products.

It's a good set, everything needed here for a basic scary Halloween face. Everything came packaged nicely together, and it all seems to be a decent quality. The scar color kit could have a slightly better makeup quality, but you're getting an awful lot for the price. I'd say this is a great starter kit for costumes.

Came in a cardboard box, wish the items were displayed nicer and had an instruction booklet included. I know there’s plenty of videos online, but it would be more convenient to be included. Besides that, this kit has plenty of items to help you achieve SFX looks! Unlike other kits I’ve come across this has silicone modeling compounds to take your looks to the next level. None of the products have smells either.

This is a great set to push your costume makeup skills to the next level. It includes everything that you'll need to do some amazing makeup effects. All the makeup, and the application tools, are included. We watched some YouTube videos to get an idea of how to use the items, and before long were creating some pretty impressive effects. Great for Halloween, theatre, or any time you need some pro-looking makeup!
