This looks nice and I think my son will like it (It’s a gift so he hasn’t seen it yet). However, the wood is rough and feels like I’m going to get a splinter when I run my hand along it. I had really thought it was going to be an actual bat cut in half, but it’s just a cheap piece of wood that is shaped like half a bat. I probably could’ve made this myself for a lot less. **Update-after posting my initial review the company reached out to apologize for my displeasure and to assure me that the bat was in fact a real bat. Today, out of the blue, I received a kind card from the company and a replacement bat. The newer bat is of much better quality and a darker color. I am very pleased with the way this company handles customer service! The newer bat does not have laquer on it, so it doesn’t look exactly like a bat you’d get in the store, but it looks real and it’s perfect for hanging my son’s hats and coats on! This was a great addition to my sons room. The hooks were a little rough on the clothes so I bought some foam popper balls and inserted them over the end of the hook. Now his coats don’t have the stretched out look where the metal hook was. Other than that I think the quality is great. We love how unique it is. ... show more

This is a cute hack rack for my sons bedroom but it's honestly to expensive for what it is. Came in a nice canvas bag and the product was wrapped completely, but somehow it still got scratched up. It did come with hardware to hang it so that was nice.
