I'm notoriously hard on purses. I usually go through a purse every one to three years. I'm also the kind of person that likes a versatile bag that goes with almost any outfit of mine to the office or to a casual event (I wear a lot of black, so black is what my bags usually end up being). First of all, the photos of this bag don't do justice in terms of conveying how much room is inside this bag. I usually like to carry a large wristlet-type wallet, a makeup pouch, an electric fan, and so so much more. When you have that much stuff in your bag already, it can be hard to add things like a planner because most bags just can't accommodate it. When I carry my planner in this bag, in addition to all my other stuff, I still have room leftover to put other things inside - something that my Steve Madden bag couldn't do! (That Steve Madden bag was a really nice backpack bag too, but this thing has so much more room than it did!) It's very plain on the outside, which means that it allows your outfit to shine rather than your bag, but that said it still looks very nice. I appreciate that it has both two shoulder straps to wear like a traditional backpack as well as another strap you can use to carry it on your elbow if you choose. I use the elbow strap when coming in from the car with Starbucks a lot more than I thought I would, and I can say it's very handy. There is a pocket on the back if you wish to keep an object close to your body when wearing it as a backpack. There are plenty of pockets inside so if you like separating your items like I do, then you'll be pleased with your ability to do that here. The front top pocket is perfect to keep items handy for easy reaching in the car, and that's what I find I use that top pocket most for - keys, phone, gum, chapstick, kleenex, etc. I guess the bottom line here is that I knew I would like this bag when I bought it, but I didn't expect to be so impressed by the pockets and the size and versatility. This bag is very beautiful. I ordered the two toned coffee and I love how it looks. However, the bag is smaller than I was expecting. I am a nurse and bought this bag for work. Maybe I carry too much to work, but this bag does not comfortably fit everything I intended to put in it. This could be my fault for not looking at the dimensions and expecting something other than I ordered, but I’m a little disappointed in its size. Additionally, it sits kind of strangely on your back when you’re carrying it, much different than an average backpack. Overall, it has many pockets (exactly what I was looking for!) and comfortably fits a two pocket folder (height wise). Anything much taller than a folder or thicker than an average textbook probably wouldn’t fit. If you plan to use this bag as a purse, I think it would be perfect for the every day smallish items you’d throw in a purse! For school or larger items, maybe consider a different/bigger bag. i’ve been eyeing this bag for so long finding very few that caught my attention. i went through a few options repeatedly for months as i’m looking for a diaper bag that isn’t too big or too small. i’m only 5’ so needed one that would be flattering for my size and finally this went on sale and i knew i had to have it! one thing that set this one aside, other than it being the most beautiful one i could find on amazon, is that it had pockets for bottles on the side that also could stretch to accommodate many sizes. i’d need a place for baby bottles and my own drinks and this seems to be suitable enough. :) the feel of the bag is best described as a buttery faux leather which is alright with me as it’s cruelty-free for those who desire such option, it is more affordable though still a pricier bag, and it looks and feels just as pleasing in my opinion! the various ways to carry the bag are amazing especially for those who will be using for uses such as for a diaper bag! the only con that really stands out over anything enough for me to mind is that upon receiving the bag the zippers were split apart instead of zipped, but all i had to do was unzip the bag and zip it back up! i think it had to do with the craftsmanship as well as the bag being rolled up during packaging. although this would not happen on majority of bags especially at this price point. but as long as the issue has not yet repeated while the bag is actually in use or while in its proper unfolded form, then i don’t mind! if there are any issues with this once i begin using it i will update this review and hope that customer service would be willing to accommodate as i absolutely adore this bag and have searched for the entire year! there was only a very slight odor which is indicated in the description and nothing obnoxious or overbearing, definitely don’t mind it and it can easily be aired out once unpacked. :) there are many pockets and the front one is pleasantly large without looking extreme and all the pockets fit items without bulging out! the lining has been updated from the previous bags to a very luxurious satin-like lining that makes it easier to zip the bag up and look inside. :) also seems more appropriate in case of accidental spills. overall this bag is perfect for really anyone as it can be used for all sorts of needs. i can even accommodate carrying a baby blanket and sweater if i needed to as well as my diabetic supplies and snacks. :) excited to use this soon for traveling (personal item for plane), daily trips, and seeing how it holds up with frequent use! ... show more
