My mother used this product on all four of her babies back in the fifties. It might have had a different name but I remember it well. I found it in old private drug stores when my child was a baby. Only thing that cured my baby's cradle cap. I used it in place of shampoo and after bath until it was cleared up now I just use it to tame the hair. Its like a non greasy oil and has a nice light baby smell.

This product has a great, soft scent but unfortunately it doesn't work for my son's hair texture. This might have been more useful when he was a newborn, before his curls really formed, but it does nothing for his already curly hair.
