Very happy with this product! I bought this for additional storage in my very tiny closet, to have a more efficient way to store my jeans. I did not know that the end unscrewed at first and so I was a little bit frustrated as it would not have fit my daughter's closet. But then I slowed down a little bit and realize that it in fact does screw outward. It's very sturdy if you need it to be by using the ceiling hanger that you attached to the middle of it. I'm very impressed with the material and metal it's made out of because it's not a crappy cheap plastic one. It saves a ton of space it's very easy to use and install and I am definitely sold on the thickness being able to hold the suggested weight. It seems a little pricey for a piece of metal, or pieces of metal but it is customizable and sometimes you have to pay a little bit extra for quality and I was willing to do that. I would definitely suggest this closet rod if you need to do something like I had to do which I will include in the video. ... show more

Arrived as described, but seems weak. I have installed it with the added vertical strap support, but am not convinced it will withstand daily use in a full closet. The vertical straps are for ceiling support but inhave 10ft ceilings and the wire support isnt long enough. I did use rear stud for support. Rod arrives in small incremental portions that require assembly (as mentioned), but I had higher hopes for stability. It is affordable and clearly described.
