This is a very nicely made glass pitcher that I use for heating milk for a latte. Easy to clean and it comes with a long handled cleaning sponge (see first picture). However, I found from experience that putting it in the dishwasher will wash off the stenciling on the side so if you want to keep those marks, hand wash only. Picture of pitcher against a dishtowel shows the degree to which the stenciling has worn off after just two runs through the dishwasher. It's mostly intact at the bottom but basically gone at the top. I used a sharpie to mark the line that I need.

I love this 2-Cup measure. It feels fragile because it's thin and light, but it's actually quite strong. That said, I AM careful not to set it down too hard on a granite counter. It can take the heat, but directions say not to put it in the dishwasher. No explanation, but I'm guessing the markers would get scrubbed off in a dishwasher. I just handwash with a fat bottle brush. That brings up a point noted by other customers: the markers. They note cups, milliliters, and ounces; but there's a discrepancy between the 2C mark and the 16oz mark. Not a big deal for me because I'm a close-enough-for-government-work cook, but it could present serious problems for a scientist or anal cook. For that reason I dinged it a star. Otherwise, it's great.

Measuring still works if the liquid is thick but otherwise it leaks through the bottom before I can get a read. Also 1/3 cup does not have a mark

I love the light weight, feel and size but.... the measurements are inaccurate above 1/2 cup. I had to draw in a line for 2 cups. Someone needs to communicate with the factory making these lovely cups and help them with our US weights and measures. Then it will be a perfect 10!

I love this tall measuring cup. We have a short coffee pot that our travel mug will not fit under. This slim measuring cup takes us from measuring the water to the brew dripping in, and so much more. Love the heat resistant handle. The glass is not thick - it reminds me of a science beaker. EDIT TI ADD ... the measurement lines on this cup are inaccurate! There are 2 sets, one metric and ounces and the other metric and cups. The left side show 2 Cups equal to 500ml. The right side is accurate in ounces. Clearly not American made
