I used to wear this scent. Actually, I'm one of those mature ladies who has been wearing it for years. You can imagine my disappointment when I knew after the first light mist that it indeed was not the perfume I had come to know and love!! Not the same scent, nor does it have the same staying power expected from a perfume. OK, that said, I hope Clinique had a good reason for the change. I can't help but feel I'm not alone is this most recent discovery. I'm sorry for all us gals who were identified by friends but mostly family by our scent. AND one more "use to have selling quality", it did not smell the same on everyone! Good luck to me and others who will be on a new perfume hunt!

I used to use a fragrance very similar to this or perhaps exactly like this over 30 years ago. It was too expensive for me to continue using it and my interests and curiosity about newer fare caused me to purchase those. But I always remembered how many compliments I received with the original fragrance that was my all time favorite......never replicated by the others that I experimented with. So many people are allergic to fragrances that I have been torn about whether to satisfy my own desire to add a cologne/perfume to my day or forgo one. I still don't have an answer to that question. And it is unfortunate that wearing perfume and putting others at risk makes me feel self indulgent and guilty. Anyway, browsing through Amazon, I found this but it seems the name of my long ago fragrance had the wordd Hypnotique in the title...Clinque Hynotique Aromatics. Is this one and the same? I liked the other some degree better so I didn't give this one the full star rating. And I haven't had one compliment while wearing this one. I wonder..........
