These needed no break-in time whatsoever -- super comfortable right out of the box! There really is not much in the way of arch support, but there is extra cushioning by the toes on the balls of the feet, and it gives the shoes a bit of a pillowy feel. I have not tried any kind of all-day walking activity, but I have worn them on my trips to the store and farmer's markets and things, and they are great. Nice basic for work

Decent basic shoe. When I first got them, they were rubbing my heel. Now that they are broken in, they are comfortable and I wear them often. I like them enough that I bought a second color.
