Bought for 2.5 year old. I was worried about the forks pointing downwards as some reviewers stated. I think the forks are pretty parallel to the floor. Although since both the forks and the pallet are slick plastic, a slight angle upward would be helpful but it works the way it is. Not many forklift options anywhere online. I guess because the forks will break easy on most toys. It is nice that these forks just fold up to prevent breaking off. My two and a half year old loves it. He's a pretty smart fella and he picked up on turning the knob pretty quickly. Although he does still get impatient and want to pull the forks down "manually". But it hasn't broken yet. (6 weeks). All in all it serves it's purpose of him having a forklift toy! The truck converting to a flat bed is also a big hit with him ... show more

Update: I was able to fix the plastic piece that was slipping inside the lift winch and now it works just fine. I could have tried to exchange it for another one, but this worked. Also made a more realistic pallet out of popsicle sticks :) Overall, it’s a great buy for the price. My son loves it. The only problem is within one day of playing with it the internal winch mechanism that lifts the forks came loose and now slips. It will still go up and down empty, but doesn’t have enough strength to even lift the paper box it came with. I was able to open it up and find the part that’s slipping - it’s just a plastic piece pressed on to a straight shaft without enough friction to keep it from spinning. I think I’ll be able to glue it or something to fix the issue, but a bit of a pain. Overall a great product aside from that issue. ... show more

Saw this and ordered it for a Christmas gift for my 2 year old grandson. He played with this toy for hours. The forklift and the delivery truck both have traction motors , I think the sound and pull intrigued him. He would load and unload the cardboard cargo over and over. Fun for a great price

Gave this to our son for Christmas since he loves trucks. But when he scoots it kn the floor it is so loud, just screams. He absolutely loves them and they have held up great.

Forklifts toys are in short supply. We bought this for our 3 year old son's birthday. He loves it and it has held up well to abuse and play over the past month so far. The winding reel action to raise and lower the forks takes the fine motor skills of an older child (4-5?), but he doesn't care- he loves it! ... show more

My 3 year old absolutely loves this! He pushes it around and you can push and let go and it moves on its own… it’s just obnoxiously loud!!!
