I've tried many diaries and planners, and most share a common issue: they're dated everywhere. You either have to buy them before the year begins or start using them at the current month whenever you purchase them, leading to a lot of wasted pages. Clever Fox is one of the rare exceptions with undated sections, making it perfect for those times when you might skip a month or two due to life's unpredictability. Its sections for weekly goals, priorities, personal to-do lists, and habit/skill builders are excellent. The blank pages in the back are great for note-taking and quick entries. One improvement could be the addition of page numbers to build an index, but since it's primarily a planner, this isn't a major drawback. I personally also use it as a journal for quick daily entries. As I get older, I find myself gravitating towards more efficient and simplistic strategies and products. While the stickers included are visually appealing, I don't find them practical. The heck I'm gonna fumble around for a birthday, gym, or latte sticker to mark an event. Instead, sketching these events is more practical. It not only stimulates creativity and improves memory (backed by science), but also enhances penmanship and artistic flow.

I love the planner and the layout so far! Very nicely packaged when it arrived too. I don't plan on using the planner heavily but I think it's a nice combo of reflection + goal setting/planning for the rest of the year. I am not one to plan hourly either nor trying to design my layout like other serious planners so I really appreciated the pops of colors in the spreads (without it being overwhelming) and thought this was a great fit for me. Pros: -the monthly spread is followed by 5 weeks of weekly spreads after each month (instead of all the months being bunched-up at the beginning of the planner). -monthly spread includes a section for goals, wins, and a little section on the side of the month for "skills to learn/places to go/habits to adopt, etc." I haven't see that in other planners so far and loved that section the most! -weekly spread starts on Mondays and includes a section for priorities, notes, habit tracker, to-do list, wins, etc. -sections for gratitude, affirmations, daily rituals, passions, and vision boad. -goals are divided up into categories and then more focused goals. -the spreads have a light pastel colors to them and are different for each month (instead of them being back&white). -about 36 dotted pages (front&back) for anything else you'd like to add (these personally would be where my reading lists and brain dump would go). -includes a mini guide, separate from the planner, on how to use the planner. -nice stickers -includes a pen holder -includes 3 ribbon placeholders -includes a pocket at the end of the planner to hold other things you'd like to include in your planner Cons: -I would've liked a "yearly review" section at the end of all the spreads but I will most likely create one in the dotted pages. They do offer a "year at a glance" page in the beginning but I think the space is only big enough to put important events (e.g., birthdays, weddings, etc.) I definitely would recommend this planner!

I just reordered another one & I LOVE the new upgrades to the second edition. The pages are more colorful and the sticker upgrade is MUCH nicer. I love the front section for goal setting for the year. I love that my whole week is on one page. I use some of the sections differently. Under the notes section I like to have a bible verse to focus for the week & to memorize. I use the “This Week’s Wins” & “How I’ll Improve Next Week” sections for budgeting & financial planning. This is a calendar/planner but I like to also journal in my Clever Fox. Everything in one compact book that has a lovely cover & very durable spine & pages. I LOVE that it is a bound book & not a spiral that gets smashed. Pen holder is a great feature too. In the back section of dot pages I like to use one page for the week to plan my weekly menu/grocery list & record my gym workout activities. All-around best planner I have ever found!
