This product is great if you are becoming sensitive as you get older or muscles are not relaxing quickly. The trick is to use prior to intercourse with a smaller object or fingers. Counter productive to use it as you are entering as it takes a few seconds or minutes to absorb into the membranes. Does not mix well with some silicone lube products and may cause temporary heat or burning sensation, but eventually all of it goes away. Once you are numb, it will last for about 20 minutes before sensitivity returns. Be generous.
