I have never been able to comfortably wear heels. I have tried moderate hills from every expensive brand on the market and within 5 minutes my feet would be killing me. To be fair most trainers are the same way as I have incredibly little padding on the soles of my feet. So I was expecting to return these as I have returned every other pair of heels I have tried in the last 30 years. But I didn't! Here's why, these are actually comfortable! I have a narrow foot and tried basically the same shoe but in a medium width and my foot wallowed around in it. I got this particular style in a narrow width and it's like a hand in a glove. The very first time I wore them it was all day long on a Sunday and it was the first time I had worn heels in decades. They were great. Comfortable all day long. The only discomfort I experienced was on my left foot, which is slightly larger than my right, the shoe was a little too tight and bore down on the top of my foot. I left the cardboard insert in the shoe and added a piece of folded up protective foam rubber film to stretch it out a bit. And on the second wearing it was just right. They are stylish, comfortable, and for someone like me who is very, VERY tender footed, they are comfortable which is somewhat of a miracle. So glad I got these shoes ... show more

Bought for less than half the original price during the big sale earlier in the fall! For Clark's shoes (which is my normal go-to brand that I nearly always buy) it was an incredible price and I KNEW I would be well advised to purchase them.. I was 100% correct! They're comfortable, easy to walk in, have good arch support. etc. It's hard to lose your balance in them because the sole is broader from top to bottom because I purchased them in a wide. Remember the longer you live and keep walking the bigger your feet get--it's just a fact of life--nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. I know people here where I live that keep wearing the same size they wore when young because of one of the seven deadlies--VANITY! I t does not serve you well! ... show more

They are definitely more comfortable than most other heels I've worn, but I wouldn't want to wear them when walking more than a few blocks at a time. I trust this brand. My feet have swollen so much lately that my shoes no longer fit. I have been wearing only flip flops for the last couple of years. Since Clark's shoes have always been comfortable before, I decided to order a pair a half size larger and in wide. They fit perfectly!
