I have only had these for a week. They were tight in the toe box, but stretched easily enough with shoe trees after a couple days, and then were a perfect and comfortable fit. Size 11B, and that is my usual size. I hope they hold up well, because they look great with lots of stuff - business casual suits, jeans, nice shorts, casual dresses. They seem pretty well made. These shoes were very tight and didn’t fit like a 71/2. It was going to return them until I saw 2 reviews saying they stretch considerably after a few wears. They did stretch and fit great now. Glad I didn’t return. Love the shoe.

    • These STRETCH A LOT After Little Wear

I bought a wide because I wanted a shoe that could take a thick, winter sock. That was a big mistake! I normally wear a 7M, and in particular, Clarks 7M always fit. When I received these, I tried them on with thick socks and walked around in the house for a couple of days and decided they would work, so kept them. That was a mistake because these have stretched out so dramatically after just a few wears, that even with thick, handmade wool socks, they gap on my feet. The soles look brand new, so I have not over worn them already! I had taken these to Europe for walking shoes for two months after my initial try, so they are not qualified for a return. What a shame! They were very comfortable when they fit. They slosh on my feet now. I have worn them about 5 times, apart from the try-on at home. On the good side, they are lightweight and lend themselves well to walking. The short heel is a nice plus for a comfortable pair of shoes. Too bad they stretch soooooo much. ... show more

Nice little pair of suede and leather loafers. I got a size 9 and normally I wear an 8 1/2 and they fit well, so I’d recommend going a half size up. They have a nice insole that feels like it will be good to wick away moisture. I bought them to wear to the office in place of a more traditional looking loafer or pointed pair of flats. I normally wear a pair of sheer nude knee length nylons under dress pants because I don’t like being fully barefoot in any dress shoes. I don’t know how durable they will be in the long term since it is suede. They are a bit narrow but I have a bunion on my left big toe and I’m pretty sure it will stretch and give with use. I’ve always bought Clark booties and shoes over the past 15 years since I was in my early 20s and never had issues with quality. I really like their shoes. Style is nice, kinda modern with the asymmetrical cut opening and gator embossed black leather heel area paired with the top of the shoe made with black low pile suede. I like the short chunky black 1 inch block heel to give it a bit more feminine feel. The sole is black rubber and shouldn’t be a worry for slipping. It was a good price for these leather Clark’s at $40 since JC Penney’s had them on sale for $60 regular $95. They felt good as soon as I slipped them on. Nice little dress up or down shoe.
