I often wear sandals around the house, but in winter I want something closed that is as comfortable as a sandal and good enough to wear outside the house as well. After carefully reading other reviews, I decided to give these a try. Initially they did seem a little long, but my foot is medium width and I have learned that after break-in that factor alters length. I also learned some time ago that one of my heels is less rounded than the other, so adding a square of Scholl's Molefoam Padding center back adjusts the fit of all my closed shoes. I wear size 8. After wearing these around the house for a couple hours I found the fit to be perfect. I am a long time Clarks fan and am so pleased with these that I just ordered a second pair. These are good looking loafers.. I was disappointed when I put them on. They look so comfortable, but the leather is stiff and the insole looks comfortable, but was not. I will be returning them. Very disappointed.

I was excited to be getting these shoes because they’re really attractive, and they came in a narrow which I really must have. However, they turned out not to be narrow and were way too loose in my heels I could not walk without without my heels coming out of both shoes so alas Beck they have to go.
