Quality leather. Like all high quite leather shoes you want them a little tight at first because the leather will stretch. I bought this same show 3 years ago, work over 40 hours a week as nurse. Only wore those shoes and still in perfect shape. When I saw these on sale I bought two more. The last pair was blue and I wanted black. I am 52 years old and always have trouble with knee and him pain, these shoes make a BIG difference. I can run on the hard hospit floor all day and never feel fatigue. My feet never hurt at the end of my 12 hour shift since getting this shoe style. The black pair pictured I bought today, the blue pair is over 3 years old. I love the fact I can use real shoe polish to keep them looking new and the leather is so thick and high quality they keep their shap. The one draw back is the heel is higher than I like, but after getting use to it I don't notice it. I do wobble on grass when watering garden but not bad. Unlike most higher heeled shoes these do not drive my weight forward causing ankle/foot pain. The inside is very soft but firm and after 3 years still soft and firm. Have mot lost support. The heel higs tight but loosens to perfect fit after wearing for a month. The heal does not slip off. If they hurt your feel let them break in and naturally stretch to your foot. I am size 8.5 but get size 8 to fit tight. When new I only wore them every 3 days until they stretched. Then- perfect.

I don’t like to order shoes without being able to try them on first, but this purchase was a great decision! I now wear an 8 wide because of arthritis in my feet, so I’m particular about my shoes. I also have a high arch, so arch support is important. This shoe was comfortable from the moment I put it on! I can usually count on Clark’s for a quality shoe, & I wasn’t disappointed! It has a low heel, so it’s perfect for a casual shoe. The leather material dresses it up & lets it form around your foot. So happy that I caught it on sale too!! It was a win win!!

I was very hesitant to order shoes without trying them on due to having a wide foot. I can be hard to fit. I love Clarks shoes though and the price was too good to pass up. I’m glad I took the the chance. They run true to size and are so comfortable! I will be buying through this medium again.

Clark shoes are by far the BEST shoes to wear at work if you’re on your feet all day long at work! All shoes fit me in an 8W perfectly. Only one style needed a half a size down (an unfortunately had to return instead of exchanging it…? Oh well Amazon lost the sale)…but this style shoe is great and very comfortable!! I just have to break them in a little bit to relieve the shoe in the heel. I have 4 pairs of Clark’s and they are by far the best company for comfortable and stylish work shoes for being on your feet all day long!! Other than that - FANTASTIC SHOE!! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!

These shoes, size 5 1/2 fit me very well. The measured length of my foot is 9 inches with a 3 1/2 inch width at the widest part. The shoes have ample room in the toe box, and are narrow enough in the heel, so they do not slip up and down. So, for me , the fit gets 5 stars. I also appreciated the cushioned insole which adds to the comfort. They came boxed with tissue, and cardboard inserts in the shoes, and cardboard protector under the button detail . I know that may be a small point , but to me, that showed they were brand new and never tried on . The shoes are leather and get 5 stars for quality. If I had to point out a negative , it would be that they are not the most dainty looking shoes , but for me , they are keepers.
