This is my second pair because my 18 yo daughter liked them so much that she stole mine and I needed another! I usually wear a size 10 and have a fairly narrow foot; Clark's typically fit me well. These run ever-so-slightly large. I first ordered a 9 1/2 (based on reviews that said they ran large) and they fit OK with stockings but were a little tight in the toe with socks. I gave those to my daughter and ordered the 10's for myself. I needed to stick a heel pad in the back because they were coming off my heel bit, but with that they are perfect with socks. This shoe is at least 1/2 size larger than it should be and also runs very wide. I would have re-ordered a smaller size but that wouldn't have helped with the width issue.
