  • Price is right!
These shoes, for me, are just a wee bit too big. I ordered my regular size of 9.5. If I wear a thin sock or tights it will fix the issue. They are that close to being the perfect fit. I chose the pewter color which looked silver but when they arrived they are more of a copper color which I like better. The price makes everything worth it. I am happy with this purchase. • Worth every penny, even a year of heavy use later!
Size: 7.5 X-Wide Color: Tan
I love these shoes and recommend them to anyone with a wide foot at the ball and a slimmer back of the foot (like going into the acheles heal area). These shoes have maintained their shape and comfort. I bought these in june 2024 , brown leather, and it is now july 2025 and little has changed. That may be good or not for some of you. I was on the fence for a while about their stiffness. Now don't get me wrong; they are comfortable right out of the box. I got a 7.5 wide and they are a perfect 7.5 wide. They are flexible, easy to slip on and off. They have a small velcro closure on a elastic tab that is not noticeable and does allow for me to make slight adjustments when my feet swell. But if you are looking for a great pair of shoes that you will breakin over time so that they just get softer and more stretched as time goes, then these are not for you. This is what I was actually looking for when i purchased them. In 2019 I got a pair of Clarks Haley Stork Sandals. At first I would wear them with nice dresses but over time they began to get more and more comfortable. Those were a 7.5 x-wide, navy colored suede, and over time my wide foot began to get a little loose in them, they began to have a slight fade of color and they just look like a very loved pair of shoes. But I still have them and still wear them. but now I wear them with jeans rather than nice dresses. So, my point in saying that is even though the general shape of the 2 shoes are very similar, both are Clarks, these have maintained their structural integrity and I do not see them getting looser with age like the Haley's. I feel that these still look a little too nice to wear with my jeans, but they still look great with my nice dresses. They give good support, are lightweight, unfaded color, and even though I am not overly protective of them (I will run through rain puddles in them, walk in gravel, and such) they still look as good as when i got them. And one of the best things, about both actually, is that they let your foot breath while giving great protection, support and comfort, especially at the toes! I am in my mid-40s and lived in flip flops when I was younger. ut as I have aged, I don't want to have to worry about the skin on my heels being overly dry and ashy and on display for everyone to see. But, I also live in south louisiana and don't want to wear a closed shoe in the dead of summer. These are the perfect answer! ... show more

  • Good quality, nice looking casual shoes.
Size: 7 Color: Tan
These shoes are very good quality leather shoes. I ordered my usual size which fit well, with the exception of the strap that has a Velcro closure, which seemed a little short. On my foot, anyway, the strap needed to be a little longer. If you have a higher arch like I do, you might find the strap a little short. As I was able to just close it near the end of the strap, I kept them as they are good quality and have a nice appearance. The outer sole looks like a plastic/rubber combination, so I'm not certain about wear, but time will tell. The toes are quite round and have a lot of room, for those who prefer it. The open areas of the shoe are nice for the summer, but are not quite as casual as a sandal. The (tan) color is nice and is true to the picture. ... show more

  • Tad too big
Size: 9 Wide Color: Tan
When I finally tried the shoe on it was comfortable, but they ran a little bit too big for me and I take a size 9 I could've gotten away with a size 8 1/2,I'll have to get a heel spacer so they don't slip, other wise they are light weight and comfy

  • Shoe Concept is Great, but Execution Needs Work for My Pair at Least
I love these shoes. Why the three star review? There are a few marks against these shoes. The pair I received may be defective because none of the reviews I read mentioned this problem. The shoes are finished in an odd way on the inside. It's not a smooth finish where the insole meets the toebox, but the insole material is gathered and crinkled up in both shoes. It sticks up with sharp edges. (I never ever encountered this in a pair of shoes before). If my toes touched those sharp parts, I think they would blister. I cut a cosmetic cotton pad in half and pushed it up against that part of the shoe to cover the sharp edges where the insole meets the toebox. Fortunately, the toebox is generously cut, so it worked okay. I ordered the pewter colored shoes because I wanted a neutral shade that I could wear with clothes that were light in color. Pewter is supposed to be gray with a blue undertone. These shoes are not accurately described as pewter. They're closer to bronze, with a definite gold undertone. I can live with that too. I wore these shoes barefoot for a while, but I prefer to wear them with hidden foot socks because, barefoot, my feet felt kind of sweaty. I just walked around the house with them one day and there's a little scuff on the back. If it was there when I got them, I didn't notice. I wonder if these shoes are good quality leather or that bonded leather garbage. A little bronze nailpolish should fix the scuff. Other than those mentioned, I have no issues with these shoes. I like them. I decided to keep these shoes rather than return them. I've been wearing Clarks shoes for years, and have only been disappointed a couple of times. All in all, they're good shoes. They just need tweaking. Clarks, please describe the color of these shoes as Bronze vs Pewter and finish the inside near the toebox better. Step up your inspections! ... show more

  • Once it’s the right size… it’s the right shoe
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Black
So I originally saw this shoe all over Amazon under 5 different brand names. I figured out that the Clark shoe is the original brand (or at least a brand that I know is a legit shoe brand). Every brand had their own size chart w totally different measurements from the others even though it appeared to be the same shoe. With that said I scoured through the reviews and also noticed that Amazon (I’m assuming their AI) was suggesting I get an 8.5. So I did. Bad advice. The shoe was entirely too small for me. So I immediately did the drop off at UPS return (because you can’t just exchange). Luckily I was doing the Affirm payment plan so I was able to immediately order the correct size. That turned out to be 9.5W. I’m not 100% sure I needed the W… but that 8.5 seemed pretty narrow and the shoe leather is pretty stiff to start out so I didn’t want to mess with having to “break it in”. I got the 9.5W this evening (SO happy that size had the same day delivery option). IT FITS PERFECT! My feet measure exactly 10 inches right and left… maybe +/- 0.1 or 0.2. According to the size chart that is size 9.5. I should have done what I normally do and followed the size chart from the start. I do NOT trust the Amazon AI size suggestion. 100% of the time it is wrong bc I’ve experienced this with clothes too. And when in say size chart… for this shoe, the little blue lettered “Size Chart” link up near the top is what I went by. Not even sure there’s an “in ad” size chart from Clark. I usually go by the one in the pics in the descriptions but this time I didn’t. So ladies…. Trust the size charts. I regret not doing it in the first place BUT since Amazon is fairly easy to return items, I’m fine with making the mistake at the start. I am happy I went with the Affirm payment plan - otherwise I would have been out $60 for a bit and not been able to get the right size right away. Excited to wear my new shoes!!! They are SUPER cute and comfortable. The leather is stiff but I prefer that since it means the shoe is brand spanking new! It’ll soften up after some wear. Get em. You know you want to and I highly recommend them!! ... show more
