I knew these size 8.5, multi brown colored loafers would fit because I already own this shoe in black. The toe box is wide enough to wiggle my toes, but not so wide the shoe slips off my feet. I have wide feet due to a bunion on one foot and a hammer toe, but cannot keep wide sized shoes from slipping off my heel. While technically a "loafer" the shoe is cut lower on the feet which makes it feel and look like both a "flat" you can wear to church or with a suit to work, and a more casual loafer, which is why I purchased both the black and multi-brown versions. This makes this shoe more versatile. The multi brown color is very attractive and is versatile worn with so many other colors. The shoes look equally attractive worn with a dress or skirt, or with jeans or shorts. I like to wear mine with knee-length, Santiny golfing skirts that I purchased from Amazon this year. I like to take them when traveling because I can cut down on the number of shoes I pack. If I wear heels to an event, I pack these to switch to when my feet get sore or tired. The insoles are not particularly thick, especially in the ball area and I plan to wear without socks and usually wear all day. For that reason, I buy a half size larger and add comfortable, washable, odor resistant insoles. Amazon sells these insoles. Give these Clark's brand loafers a try. ... show more

    • Nice shoes, but length runs small

Very cute shoe. Insoles are very comfortable. The shoes have good arch support, however the shoes run short in length. I normally wear a 7 in my Clarks. I am returning these and ordering a 1/2 size up Hopefully, they will be long enough

Size: 8 Wide Color: Tan Leather
These shoes have a soft insole and are made for slightly wider feet. I can walk all day in these; the soles are just thick enough to be comfy while walking all day on cobble stone streets. The style is classic and pairs great with jeans, khakis, or dressier pants. I highly recommend them for traveling on vacation. Love Clarkes but this was disappointing out of the box - the colour was no where close to the photos. Considering whether to return or give away Feels comfortable and has the Clarkes hallmark of good quality leather and workmanship. The design is comfy, easy to get on. The length is perfect but there's too much space for my feet in terms of width. Bought these as a backup shoe for the office but they may be more suited for driving and extended walking when sneakers may not be an option ... show more

These are beautiful but really wide, more so than I’d expect for extra wide, and are about half size too long. I love the look, though, and will order again going down a half size.

Really comfortable shoes . . . right from the first time I wore them. Perfect for slacks or jeans. Perhaps a little large on the size might want to go down a half size if you are between sizes
