These are comfortable and high quality. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the sizing is off. I wear a size 5-1/2 in every brand of shoe I own, including several pairs of Clarks, so I ordered the 5-1/2 navy blue in these loafers. The toe area was so short my toes were up against the end. I tried them on with tights and bare foot and still didn't have enough toe room. I exchanged them for a size 6 and they fit well. Now I can wear them with socks or tights comfortably. Size: 8.5 Color: Brown Multi
I knew these size 8.5, multi brown colored loafers would fit because I already own this shoe in black. The toe box is wide enough to wiggle my toes, but not so wide the shoe slips off my feet. I have wide feet due to a bunion on one foot and a hammer toe, but cannot keep wide sized shoes from slipping off my heel. While technically a "loafer" the shoe is cut lower on the feet which makes it feel and look like both a "flat" you can wear to church or with a suit to work, and a more casual loafer, which is why I purchased both the black and multi-brown versions. This makes this shoe more versatile. The multi brown color is very attractive and is versatile worn with so many other colors. The shoes look equally attractive worn with a dress or skirt, or with jeans or shorts. I like to wear mine with knee-length, Santiny golfing skirts that I purchased from Amazon this year. I like to take them when traveling because I can cut down on the number of shoes I pack. If I wear heels to an event, I pack these to switch to when my feet get sore or tired. The insoles are not particularly thick, especially in the ball area and I plan to wear without socks and usually wear all day. For that reason, I buy a half size larger and add comfortable, washable, odor resistant insoles. Amazon sells these insoles. Give these Clark's brand loafers a try. ... show more
