I bought a navy pair of the Ashland Bubble in 2018, and when I saw a black pair on sale, I knew they would be a good investment. Clarks sizes are very consistent, and both pair of these have a roomy toe box, narrowed heels, and good arch support. The leather is pliable, but keeps its shape, as you can see in the older pair that I am wearing. Using a leather conditioner and not wearing them outside helps keep them looking new. These may be a bit "old lady", but they look nice with skirts, dresses, and jeans, so I have gotten a lot of wear out of them. I've never had any problems with the tassles, and the soles hold up very well. The only negative is that the shoes have white stitching, so it's very hard to use a colored polish on them when they are scuffed. It would be nice if Clarks used stitching in the same color as the leather. A very practical, comfortable, and long wearing shoe. ... show more

Very nice quality shoe. Footbed is very cozy with some arch support. The navy color is so dark, I double checked to make sure I had not received black loafers. That doesn't bother me. I think in other light they will appear closer to the photos. The only reason I gave 4 stars, is I have a high instep and the shoes are a bit tight across the instep. I love these navy loafers from Clarks. The style and fit are just right. If I could improve these shoes, I’d give them more shine….the finish is matte and a bit dull. I ordered neutral wax polish to shine them up a bit….but many would love them just the way they are.

The fit is pretty accurate but if you have wide feet, get the regular. My feet are wide but based on the sizing chart, I thought wide would be perfect but its too much material. You can see in the picture where the shoe bends out in the middle. Other than that it really comfortable and sturdy!!

I usually wear size 7 to 8 depending on store brand. I've ordered 7.5 wide as most of my shoes run size 7 to 7.5. When I tried these on - the left shoe fit well, however the right shoe was a little looser and kept slipping off a little. I had thick socks on too. Overall, the shoe does seem good quality. I might need to re-order a smaller size of a 7. Walmart shoes fit me with size 8. Other shoes I get a TJMaxx fit at size 7 or 7.5. I like these shoes, but need a size adjustment. When ordered a size 7 of this shoe they had sent me a shoe with the wrong design which I have returned. I guess I will keep the original 7.5 sized ones and put some cotton in the other shoe. Sad.
