First off, this is a great looking shoe that works with business casual or jeans. The fit, however, leaves much to be desired. These shoes have a VERY aggressive taper to the tip, which felt cramped and began rubbing on my smaller toes as they were jammed into the narrowed toe. I almost universally wear regular-width shoes and even ordered these in a size larger than I typically wear, but the narrow toe on this shoe makes them very uncomfortable. Due to that design choice, I'm not sure that a wide size would even make a difference. I was also disappointed with the cushioning in this model. Some pairs of Clarks have excellent padding strategically placed on the insoles and you can wear them all day. These are not one of those models. Looking at them, they SEEM to have that cushioning but I couldn't feel it at all. Another thing to consider: it fits very loose around the ankle. I've had shoes that fit similarly, and once they're broken-in they introduce a lot of foot movement within the shoe and are not very supportive in that area. I won't be keeping these long enough to find out. Because of the look, I really wanted to like these. But I need a shoe that's functional as well as stylish, and these did not foot the bill.

I'm kind of picky about my shoes. Great shoes for this price (or really any price!). I've worn Mephisto's and other much more costly shoes and the truth is these Clarks are almost as good in looks, feel and comfort. I say almost because some of the $300+ shoes have softer more supple leather but these "ain't" bad! Really, they have nice leather outers and inners. I returned 2 pairs before settling on these. One was way more and just didn't feel or look right, they were bulky and the others were a little less $$ but I didn't notice until I got them that they were NOT leather but "man made"! Really??? $50 shoes and I have to check to make sure they're not plastic? If you're buying below that price, check the material! I didn't! Anyhow, I returned them. These Clarks were just $60 and as good in quality as the $200 Eccos I returned and the Clarks are sleeker and fit nicely. I wear a 10 almost always and heard these run big so got a 91/2 and that was the right call. These also have the nice soft rubber grip soles which I now HIGHLY prefer! No more clickity clack as I walk on a hard floor! That is so passé! I love the quiet soles and no slipping on slick surfaces. I am very pleased with the very acceptable quality of leather and just as much, I like the way they look! Sleek and dressy but not overly so but can very much be worn with a full black tie suit or with more casual attire but they ARE more suited for more formal wear IMO. Good shoes! A good buy and, for now, Good Bye! 😉

I was a loyal Bass in-store shoe shopper for years because their 10W fit me perfect with my orthotics inserted. When they went out of business, I rolled the dice and ordered a pair of Clarks online, sight unseen and foot untested. The result… WINNER! This pair of shoes was my 5th order. All have fit perfectly. I was initially worried that a more narrower toe box on these shoes wouldn’t work, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. Orthotics fit perfectly and the first day of wearing (for 11 hours… long day) was like I was wearing a long broken in pair of shoes. I definitely recommend these shoes. Hopefully, your experience will be the same.

Quality is top of the line as always. I've had Clarks that I've worn daily for years. You save a lot of money by buying high quality shoes like these. They last for years with daily wear. Even longer when you wear them for special occasions. It's not only comfy but great quality. I needed a pair for a wedding, so why even waste $50 on something that won't last? I was in another country and missed the bus after the wedding. I had to walk to my hotel for an hour afterwards. These were really comfy and not a problem at all! It's like having the softness of a tennis shoe, but it's formal. For dress shoes, this is 5/5. For Clarks, these are 4.5/5. Clark does make nicer ones. This is amazing bang for buck! Note: With Clarks, I suggest going and finding one at the store to figure out the right size for you.

Nice shoes, very comfortable. Could use a little more cushioning, maybe some memory foam but still wearable at work all day. Not sure how they would be if you were walking or standing all day. Shoes also look good. Very professional looking. Could be business or with jean, but might be too dressy for jeans. UPDATE; I have now worn these regularly for a few months and very impressed. They still look good and are comfortable. I do a mix of standing and sitting and are ideal. I would not recommend if you are walking or standing a lot, just not enough cushioning. Leather still looks nice, we'll see if it makes it to a year, which these shoes rarely do.

My only dislike is the fact that I can’t find anything about them to dislike 😁 they slip on very easily they’re beautifully designed and very comfortable think I’ll buy another pair to wear to my Masonic lodge meetings I really wish I could customize them like have my name and the square and compass Masonic symbol engraved. I am usually a 10.5 shoe but sometimes am an 11 or 10 depending on the shoe. I gambled and ordered the 10.5 and it fits perfectly. A nice snug fit, and the shoe looks great and isn’t a heavy clunky shoe. The quality is also great.
