I don't usually get my shoes wide (trying to find a size 14 is hard enough) but I'm glad I took the advice to get the shoes in a wide, because I think they would be too narrow otherwise. The shoes are darker than they appear on the website, so take that into account if you don't want a very dark brown. That said, I think they look good and they fit great. This was a pleasant surprise as I was replacing a pair of ecco brand casual shoes. Very well made of quality materials and pleasantly lightweight. Fit well for all day office casual wear with Khakis or jeans on a weekend. The sole was a bit less contoured than expected but then I replaced them with my ortho inserts from the eccos, they fit perfectly. Not a ding but personal preference! The last time I bought a pair of Clarks was when they were actually made in England I even had them resoled. This pair was made in India. These are very comfortable shoes. For people whose jobs demand standing up a lot they are amazing. However, in my experience they don't last much and they need to be replaced due to wearing down.
