Shoes came nicely packaged, plastic insert in side the shoe to keep their shape. I order the burgundy but from another review l knew it was a dark red. It matches my Patrica Nash handbag perfectly. The question is whether the shoe is leather. I am not sure. The inside is beautifully lined, the out side material is soft just like the video shows. Sole is flexible. I wear a size 8.5 For me the shoe is a perfect fit, just wide enough to accommodate a pair of socks, but l can also wear them without a sock and the heel does not slip. No rubbing, no pain, no break in period. Best pair of shoes l purchase in a long time. If they’re not leather l will trade that for comfort. Would l buy them again, absolutely plan on getting a second pair after the Holidays.

They slip on easily and are so comfortable. No break in needed. I usually take my shoes off as soon as I enter the house, I forget I have them on. I ordered another pair in black. I took away a star because of the confusion on leather not leather. The description says they are leather lined which doesn’t mean the outside is leather. The care saying they are washable made me suspicious too, the comfort made me look past the leather issue.

I was wondering if these shoes would be comfortable or uncomfortable like most loafers I've purchased. Most loafers tend to have a hard bottom which makes you feel like after a while that you're walking on like rocks or the ground barefoot but these have a soft and comfy insole so your able to stay comfortable no matter how much walking you do. These fit perfectly and aren't too loose or too tight so your able to walk comfortably without blisters

These shoes are very cute. I ordered my regular size 7.5 and they were way too wide. If you have a wide foot these might work for you. Also, not leather.

I wear an 8 in all my shoes, these run a little large so I think I could have gone 7.5 but my feet are not slipping out of them. Really comfortable, I can wiggle my toes. The soles have great grip which helped on icy sidewalks this week. Would buy again.
