This is a great beach coverup and a very comfy dress to lounge around in. I’m 5’8” and 130-135lbs and ordered the large in the rainbow tie dye. It comes down to my ankles. It’s somewhat loose but in a comfy way. I love the pockets! It’s not clingy at all and doesn’t wrinkle. I’ve been washing it on the cold delicates cycle and hanging to dry because I’m worried the material might pill. It’s very soft but I will mention if you’re backlit in the sunlight it is slightly see through. I had on a bathing suit underneath and was at the beach so I didn’t care but I won’t be wearing it on the daily. Will buy another one for our next vacay! ... show more

Dress is just as pictured. SIZE DOWN. I am 5 foot 5 and weigh 160-165lbs, B cup, thicker hips and butt, little bit of a belly; I see a lot of people in the reviews complaining about this dress. Yes, it runs big, yes, it tends to be “oversized”, so SIZE DOWN… I usually wear a medium or large when it comes to clothing, and I ordered a size small in this maxi dress because again, it runs big, and it’s extremely stretchy. If I would’ve gotten a large in this, like I do many other dresses, it would look like a ridiculous night gown, but in a size small, it’s just fitted enough that it doesn’t look like a night gown/moo-moo. I have some of those women’s boxers “woxers” and I wore those underneath this dress for a seamless look and to slightly conceal the tummy. If you a little meat on your bones and aren’t incredibly thin, wearing a pair of underwear under the dress that happens to dig into your sides, butt, or tummy, at all, you WILL see the lines/indentions. So go seamless with your panties or boxers or whatever. It fits well in the upper body and armpits. Nothing weird about it. It’s cut and sewn fine. The color of the tie dye on the dress is basically as pictured, it’s not QUITE as bright/saturated as the photo on Amazon, because the photo is enhanced for the website, but it’s basically the same. I’ve seen some people say it’s super dull and looks bad - I think that’s a little dramatic. I didn’t have any issues with it wrinkling. I rinsed it out in the washer before wearing it and dried it on “super low” heat, pulled it out and hung it up, no issues. The pockets are great. Obviously if you put a lot of stuff in your pockets it will make your silhouette in the dress look a little funny, but they are very useful to slip your phone or card/id into. You can leave it full length or tie a small knot towards the bottom of the dress on one side if you want to show a little leg. As I’ve ordered many things over the years from Amazon, I am starting to be able to tell what items will and will not last very long. The PRO About this dress is that it’s super comfortable, the fabric is soft, the pockets were a surprise to me actually, but I love them! The dress I ordered was all black and I put on white underwear underneath it in my apartment and could not see through, However, I would wear something under the dress if you’re gonna be out in the actual sun just in case. But that is super comfortable and loosefitting so the dress itself was great The CON The graphics that are printed on my dress I can tell they may very well lift after a few washes so be safe. I’m gonna return it and re-order a dress of the same exact seller without the graphics. I have ordered a T-shirt before from Amazon and I believe it’s “DTG” Printing, which is directed garment…. And what I’ve learned is a lot of some of the T-shirts out there it’s literally literally printed on the top of the fabric like a printer Versus… Screen printing… The ink is literally being pressed into the fabric…. Where you can tell, the graphic image is literally part of the fabric. This particular graphic seemed like it was just floating on top and I have had some literally peel off maybe after only washing it for 10 times And that was something I bought from Amazon. ... show more
