These CHShoer winter boots arrived well and carefully packed to ensure they held their shape in transit. I was delighted to open them and find them to be the high quality shoe I hoped for. First let's talk about fit. They fit as I anticipated. I wear a 9 1/2 in shoes unless they are tennis shoe/boot styles. In that case I wear a 9 which is what I ordered here. The fit was spot on. The floofy lining probably accounts for about half a size in these shoes (and makes them warmer). Now let's talk about construction. These shoes have a lot of stitching and stitching detail so a lot of opportunities for things to go awry. Quality control seems to be in good form here as the stitching is all straight and finished well, there are no hanging threads which speaks of a looming problem with unraveling, the sole is firmly attached, the zippers are installed snugly and without any lumpiness to the stitching so they are completely comfortable. The leather itself is a reasonable quality and I do like the burnished color touch on the tops of the toes. Comfort! I gave these a thorough but probably ill advised testing. I decided to use them as my walking shoes for a few days to really get them broken in. I have walked a total of 10 miles of road walking in them (not to mention the time spent in them in the house which I don't have a way to gauge). The good news is that they didn't require any actual "break in" time. They have yet to rub any blisters. The soles are still intact and show average wear from having walked as far as they have. I would not use these as my regular walking shoes because they don't have the same support as a tennis shoe. However, the arch support is just fine and using them for several days for walking shoes did not hurt my back or knees (as I anticipated it would). The zipper is definitely nice for getting in and out of these. You will want to wear socks that are higher than the tops of these shoes because they will rub your leg and cause a blister or a sore. I'm not crazy about the style of the included laces because they seem to be pretty slippery. I had to stop and retie them multiple times in my walks and finally decided just to knot them. I do like the fluffy lining and after several wears it has stopped shedding but hasn't matted or compressed signficantly. The shedding wasn't that bad anyway because it shed in clumps, not little impossible fuzzies. I feel that for the price, this is a great pair winter boots! ... show more

The boots are true to size (I got 8,5 USA). A thick sock would not fit. I like both the design and the material (washed leather). All the stitches are neat, and the sole is thick. I love the anti slip feature. I like that they have both zipper and laces. My feet are wide, so laces help to adjust the width of the boot. The only thing that I don’t like is that the white faux fur sheds a lot. That’s why I took one star off. Overall, these are nice quality, fun looking boots for winter. ... show more

I ordered these boots on impulse. They aren't usually something I would get, but I'm glad I did!. The lining is super warm, and they fit well. The top seam is coming undone on one, but it's an easy fix. They look nice and I get tons of compliments!

Took forever to arrive and were 1.5 sizes smaller than requested. Needless to say they don't fit, so I really can't review them for comfort. They look really cool, claim to be real leather and I wish I could wear them...

I wear an 8 or 8.5 and I ordered the 8 and they fit fine. Generally in boots, I wear 8.5 so I can wear socks. I only wore lighter ones so had no problems. I was worried after I ordered them that they would be too small due to the faux fur lining, but they fit perfectly. Everyone at work absolutely loved the look and made comments about them all day. I love how warm these are and how sturdy they are. I use these to ride my wild dragon of a horse who doesn't know what walking is. They're super grippy and grip my stirrups better than any western boot I've ever owned. They do run about a half size smaller than expected. I usually wear an 8.5 to a 9 so ordered a 9.5 and they're pretty tight with really thin socks. ... show more
