It’s a very strong spiced almond smell for the first couple of minutes but tends to settle down to a rich vanilla after some air time. I would recommend spraying alittle more distant around 8-10 inches away from skin, trust me one spritz will do ya. If it’s too strong for you I recommend just spraying on the back of the knee, if your wearing shorts or a skirt of course, but yeah, I ordered 3.4 oz but I think ordering a 1oz would last at least 5 months if used consistently. People have said that this perfume smell like playdoh. I can get that, if I am looking for playdoh. I personally smell the vanilla undertones and how warm and sweet it is. I think is it unique and I love it, it is my favorite, daily scent. I am a one scent person and do not switch up often Been wearing this for a little over a year now. The last one before that was for nine years so I am pretty loyal once I find something I like. Never say never, but I do not think I will be switching up on Hypnotic Poison for a while. ... show more

Hypnotic Poison was made with me in mind, it will never smell as divine on anyone else, but you can try! 😬 I had let years lapse since buying this perfume and couldn’t resist at this price!

I tried but the reformulation is not nearly as good as the original. I have been wearing this accent almost 30 years but now the first thing I smell is the massive amount of alcohol they put in it. It also smells like something is missing now. I will be looking for a new scent. We had a good run. On the bright side, the dupes smell more like the original. But someone said something about this perfume that made me wonder about it, so I bought it -- and now I feel incomplete without it.
