OMG! Chloe is THAT ONE perfume that every woman needs to have. And let me tell you, if you don't like Chloe, that perfumes are not for you... I have very extensive collection of perfumes, some modern some vintage. However, Chloe is so very unique that doesn't quite smell like any other perfume i can think of. It's fresh, it's clean, it's rosey, it's soapy, it's so woman-like. My husband is crazy about it, so is my 19 year old daughter, who keeps stealing it, despite her quite large collection of perfumes too. And this baby is a beast when it comes to longevity and projection. I get 12 hours on my skin and way longer than that on clothes (EDP), so only one spray is recommended. Two is an overkill, and the aromatic cloud of fresh roses will overpower even the most extreme perfume lover. A true classic and a must have. The bottle is also gorgeous, but bare in mind that the vintage patina that will develop on the metal part after you open the perfume, is only a sign that your perfume is an original. This is NOT a sign of having a knock off bottle, as some people suggest on the internet. ... show more

I love this perfume SO much! I purchased some other perfume from Macy's last year and got a sample of the Chloe perfume and a few others. I've always been a fan of flowery perfumes (Coach's poppy is a staple of mine), but the smell of this perfume blew every other perfume I had away. I couldn't stop smelling the little sampler bottle. I have so many perfumes, from Jimmy Choo to Ralph Lauren (Summer Romance, yum) to Dolce and Gabbana, but my staple is Chloe. I'm going to try to describe the smell of this perfume, but I really don't think I can do it justice. To me it smells like a flower garden after a rainstorm. It's a very thick floral smell with just the slightest hint of spice, but unlike Coach's poppy, which is almost sickeningly sweet, this perfume has heavy tones. It's mature, but subtle. And before when I said the slightest hint of spice, I mean the absolute slightest. I don't know if it's just my body chemistry or what, but I am 25 years old (I saw the remark about being some old lady's perfume?) and I cannot stop smelling this perfume. This has been my favorite perfume since I first came across it at 13. It is definitely the most worn out of my collection. I don’t use much since it is very strong and will last me a full day. I wear it by itself or mix it with other perfumes that tend to be a little sweeter depending on where I am going that day. I recommend this to everyone that will ask “what are you wearing”. I buy the largest size and it last me a year to a year and a half. I never spray it directly on myself. I just spray twice in front of me than walk through it.
