I have loved these pants that I bought from a store, and when I saw these online I was so excited. The black pair I bought fit perfectly. The denim pair not so much. The elastic waist seems to be stretched beyond normal and is too loose. Unfortunately, I would return the denim pair for another pair, but I have already taken off the tag so I will see if I can take it in somehow. Overall, the black pair is perfect. I'm wondering if I just received a pair of denim pants that someone had tried on and the elastic waistband got stretched out. I was hoping for knit, more like yoga pants, but they are ok. They fit well, except for the length. They’re slightly long. I haven’t washed them yet and since they’re cotton I’m hoping for a little shrinkage in the length but none in the body. If needed I will edit my review.

For years, I purchased Just My Size jeans until I began to notice the denim felt thinner and the seams weren't as securely sewn as they had been previously. I went on the search to find a replacement and decided to try these Chic jeans. First thing I noticed was the quality of the denim. It felt thicker while still being comfortably soft. The wide waist band fits securely, although I do have to pull it up a bit higher than other elastic band pants I own. What I especially love about these pants is how they fit snugly on my thighs without being too tight. A problem I've often encountered with plus-size jeans, in general, is if they fit at the waist, they look like clown pants on the legs. The pants are comfortable and the length fits at pretty much the perfect length on me (I'm 5'4), but there are NO BACK POCKETS. Your butt is BARE. The front pockets are....decent but you will not be able to fit much. I have a Galaxy s10+ and it sticks out too much. I must have misread the other reviews, because I was under the impression everybody was praising that these pants actually have pockets... They're comfy enough, but I think I will stick to men's pants ... show more

The store where my wife normally purchases this brand is no longer available to her. I searched Amazon with the number on the label and she is back in business with her fave everyday jeans. They wear very well and don't seem to fade like other brands. Fit as expected. Recommend.
