For reference- 5’4”/238/40waist/53 hips/big butt. I got the XXL plus. And these fit perfectly. They are high enough on the waist that they don’t dig into the tummy. The waist band is stretchy and soft and comfy when sitting. The regular length is perfect but may get shorter after washing. I’m hoping they don’t shrink.

OK - Don't expect two pairs of same size/color to be alike

Update 5/2/2020 - Dropped from 4 stars to 3 stars. Ordered a second pair of same size/length. This pair fit much bigger, and the inseam was 1 1/2 inches shorter! But this pair fit normally in front/back with a much higher waist . The back doesn't slip way down when bending or sitting like the first pair. Getting same size/color doesn't mean it will fit like another of the same/size color. Legs are not tapered and very wide at the lower leg and ankles. Original review - Ordered a tall and regular length in navy. Usually prefer tall pants but in navy the regular was just right for me at 5'10" in sneakers. Regular length inseam on the navy pants was 33". I was stepping all over the talls even in shoes. Navy talls had an inseam of 35". Fabric is nice, price was good, they wash/dry nicely, like the waist with elastic and drawstring (although the drawstring doesn't cinch up much but that was OK for me), nice pockets. I ordered my usual size and they fit OK. But pants come up too far in the front and not far enough in the back. When bending or sitting the back slides down way too far. This can vary with each person based on body shape. Like many others I agree these are not tapered legs. They seem to flare out and are very wide especially at the ankles. Overall for the price they are OK.

The pants are comfortable with the perfect amount of stretch. They stayed up throughout my entire shift. My only observation is that the ankles are not tapered. There is a small slit and they flare, but not like typical flare pants. I really wanted tapered leg pants but I needed uniform asap so I'll have to keep them. Anyway for size reference I'm an 18w, 5'7", 270 and purchased a 2x
