There are so many car detailing products out there that is really easy to get confused and overwhelmed. To make it worse, there are tons of Internet pundits, all talking about how some brand or product is the best and you would be crazy to consider anything else. The truth is, there are many products out there can produce great results. What I like about the Chemical Guys system is that they have a comprehensive package of products that all work together along with a great set of instructional videos to help you get started. It had been a while since I had done any detailing on my cars, so the Arsenal Builder kit was a great way for me to get back in the game with an assortment of the most commonly used products all bundled together at a very good price. In my opinion, the results I was able to get with this system speak for themselves. The foam canon is the heart of the kit. It hooks up to an ordinary garden hose and quickly applies a generous layer of wash foam onto your car. You need to set your expectations properly, this is not going to produce the same kind of results a pressure washer foam canon would, but the results are more than adequate for an amateur like me. Some people have commented that the quick disconnect can leak, but I have not had that problem. The included car wash works great and smells fantastic to boot. In fact, all the cleaning chemicals included do the job they are designed to do well. I especially liked the Butter Wet Wax, which goes on quick and easy by hand and produces a great shine. Full disclosure, in addition to the products contained in this kit, I used the Chemical Guys Blacklight Glaze and V07 Quick Detailer. Another plus is the Chemical Guys customer service. The wash bucket dirt trap included in my kit arrived damaged, but the Chemical Guys took care of me shipping out a replacement right away. There may be better products out there, or at least products that may work better for certain applications. I found that the Chemical Guys system works well for me. I am able to get great results with a moderate amount of effort and at a fairly reasonable investment level. If you are looking to start detailing your car and are getting confused by all the options out there, I highly recommend jumping in with the Chemical Guys Arsenal Builder. p.s.; I have no connection to Chemical Guys at all, I am just a happy customer. ... show more

I’ll go over each product in this review- I honestly hate washing my car because it’s black, dirt will be visible on it right after it’s done being washed. Although this wash kit has made washing and keeping my car clean a lot easier. I’ve had this kit for a couple months now, you don’t need to use a lot of product to get good results in my opinion. Definitely worth the price. The foam gun is pretty easy to assemble and produces a lot of foam depending on the setting you have it on. As you can see from one of the photos that’s the left over foam on the lowest settings. As mentioned you don’t need to use a lot of the soap with the foam gun to get lots of foam, it’s helpful that the foam gun has line marker that lets you know how much soap you should be adding rather than just eyeballing it. The tire cleaner works pretty great too. I normally don’t make a big effort to clean my tires, I mostly just focus on maintaining my paint. The scent it gives off reminds me of toothpaste? But it leaves your tires pretty shiny and clean, I don’t think the pictures do it justice. Again you don’t really need to use a lot of the product to see results, it actually foams up as you brush it on so I guess it is somewhat like toothpaste for tires if that gives you an idea on how it works when it’s applied. It’s November now and I last applied the butter wax back around September and haven’t really felt a huge need to apply anymore until now. Of course that’s probably more of a preference thing and luck with the weather not wearing down the wax. It’s easy to apply and I feel it’s easier to buff off compared to other types of wax products. The interior shine is great too, has a nice clean scent to it. Not too strong, not too weak. Drys off nicely. Haven’t used the glass cleaner so I can’t say much on it. Rains a lot where I live around this time so I use a separate hydrophobic glass cleaner to repel water. Overall- great value. Mine came with stickers which I slapped on the bucket. The bucket is nice, you can either use it to hand wash or you can use it like I do and just have it to store all the materials in one place. ... show more

It's a bit pricey for the size of the bottles it comes with, but did my first wash and the wheel cleaner works really well. I like the bubble gun/nozzle a lot, and overall it gets the car clean and makes it a little less burdensome.

Let’s start with what is great. The chemicals smell amazing and do the job. My car has shiny wheels and the interior will look great once I finish cleaning (too hot today). Unfortunately the foam cannon as sold is useless. It doesn’t fit my Karcher K4 Pressure Washer, which is very disappointing and should be pointed out in the kit description. I think I have found an adapter but will need to wait for delivery tomorrow. If I had known I would have ordered the foam cannon that fits a garden hose. So, great chemicals, cleaning tools and cloths, but not good on the foam cannon. Ok. If you have a Karcher Pressure Washer you need this adapter: Brand: WEITELAI Foam Gun Adapter for Pressure Washer, to 1/4'' Quick Connect Fitting, Only Compatible Pressure Washer Parts K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7 2 Pieces. Pretty great entry level car wash kit. There's a ton of mixed reviews out there (especially reddit) about the chemicals and company, but thankfully the kit I got had 0 issues. The foam cannon works okay, it doesn't really foam all that well and it's mostly water that kind of runs off, but at least it doesn't leak like others'. All my bottles were intact with no spills. I wish the kits would come with a basic instruction or suggested order of uses, watching multiple videos and guessing wasn't ideal.. especially if they market these to first timers. One item missing from this kit is a drying towel, but easy enough to get a couple afterwards if needed. For 80 bucks on black Friday, it's a good deal. ... show more
