I do some automotive detailing on the side, and this is hands down my favorite carpet cleaner! It gets stains out that other cleaners haven't been able to, and it smells amazing!     • Effective, economical, pleasant smell that dissipates
Effectively removed light but old carpet stains in grey automotive carpet and upholstery. Also removed grease and grime from plastic paneling and a variety of other surfaces in the vehicle. The scent is a bit strong when you open the bottle, but when dilute it is fairly gentle and quickly dissipates within a day or so, leaving you with a car that smells clean but not like candy. Initially I was worried about having to use too much of the liquid to be effective when diluted. At a ~20:1 ratio (the recommended dilution), i used roughly 24 fl oz of cleaner to do floor mats, panels, dash, console, and a few problem spots on the carpet of an 8 seat SUV. I suspect for a car that size, this jug would allow me to do the full interior about two dozen times, so no worries about quantity anymore. My one slight grievance is that it seems to separate inside of my spray bottles after 30 minutes or so, but a quick shake makes it foam up and return to a solution. ... show more

    • Great smell and Cleaning Power.
Fabric Clean has a wonderful cleaning scent but most important it is a great vehicle carpet cleaner. First I would suggest to use a drill brush in combination with this product. The difference is huge. I used Chemical Guys Lightning Fast with the Medium grade Chemical guys Drill Brush and using the same 8:1 ratio Fabric Clean did a much better job even at removing stains. Even using Lightning Fast straight from the bottle it was not as good as fabric clean. Plus it has a more chemical odor. So use the drill brush in combination with fabric clean and your arms and hands will thank you but also the carpets are going to look wonderful and smell great. ... show more

Got a puppy which cannot grasp the idea of going outside so she uses my brand new rug as her bathroom. Other cleaning sweeper solutions was not touching it. Went over it 4 times! Then this stuff came. Went over it once! The water looked like I was pouring cola out from my sweeper. The rug looks new again and it smells so much better instead of like a freaking puppy pound in my home! This stuff is absolutely amazing and I’m highly impressed! Loosens up dirt/oil from the truck that rubbed off the bottom of my boots. Even worked on the home stairs where there is heavy foot traffic. Used my carpet cleaner for the scrubbing mixed this in a spray bottle and vacuumed up with carpet cleaner.

    • Good stuff.. A little does a lot!
This fluorescent yellow potion is the best you'll find. Just a couple of ounces in a spray bottle will do an entire Yukon, probably two small cars. Little goes a long way.. Yes it's pricey but trust me, it's so concentrated and powerful, it'll remove crap from your mats and carpet you won't believe! We had several unexplained black stains in a Denali.. I was sure that one floor mat was ruined. EVERY BIT OF IT CAME OUT.. It takes a lot to impress me, but in all truthfulness, this stuff impressed me big time. All mats and rugs no longer need to be replaced! Note that you should pick up a round brush kit (usually comes with three or four different sizes of brushes) for your drill. You absolutely won't believe the difference between hand scrubbing and using a drill brush to clean your carpets. Plus, it's effortless. I picked up a three pack of drill brushes for fifteen bucks here on Amazon after I bought the cleaner. No need to hesitate if you want the best, this stuff is what you've been looking for. ... show more

    • Pleasant smell, high concentation
My cloth car seats smelled of body sweat so I initially cleaned them using baking soda and vinegar (as suggested from several online websites). It didn't really work, except I now have a lingering smell of vinegar in my car. I used this product to try to get the vinegar smell out and it seemed to have worked. The bottle contained concentrated solution which you need to mix with water. It recommends 20-to-1 mixture for general cleaning, and 8-to-1 for hard to remove stains. I decided to use 8-to-1 for my car seats and it was way too strong. I was coughing when spraying this stuff from a spray bottle and it was super soapy. My suggestion is to stick with the 20-to-1 mixture for your seats and carpet. The product has a very nice lemony smell that nearly completely dissipates after a day or two. I'd definitely recommend this product for cleaning car seats and carpets. ... show more
