If you are on the thicker side, size up. I'm usually a size 2x in Chef Works chef coats. This was too tight on me. I will have to return it for a 3x. I still have it 5 stars because it's exactly what it's supposed to be, just not my size. It is lightweight, sleek, and just looks nice. I look forward to receiving my 3x coat!     • Easy to wear, easy to wash, cool (as in not hot, even when the kitchen is).

Of all the chef's coats I've purchased and had made, I like this one the best. It is not too heavy, I can move freely, it doesn't hold stains, and it isn't too hot. I bought a medium but probably should have gotten a small, though the loose fit is okay.

I never thought I’d wear anything but my beloved Hartford coat. But i gotta say, I think I like this one better! The main reason is that it’s longer. So I don’t have to go up a size to get the length I need. I’m not crazy tall or anything, but I have long legs and shirts and everything in my normal shoes size are usually too short. This fabric seems softer too. The Hartford can be a little stiff because it’s double layered on the front, probably for safety reasons… but I’m not technically in the kitchen around a lot of heat so that’s not a huge priority to me. I still love my Hartfords, but the Arcadia looks great, and fits like a charm. ... show more
