The fabric is lightweight as promised, but very good quality. Very breathable, which is a welcome relief in a hot kitchen. Sizing-wise I'm 5'5" 115 lbs and it fits me perfectly. The bottom of the coat hits about 6" below my hips, which is perfect to keep my apron from becoming untucked. I've worn many types of chef coats and this is, by far, my favorite.
