Wonderful professional apron!, I bought this because I hate the normal every day aprons that are available. Work always supplies thin cotton or polyester blend aprons. Love this I’ve ordered five of them and they’re fantastic. Update June 2020 I have been using my aprons for over six months and for the most part they hold up fine. The fabric is just starting to look worn, the color faded, but that was resolved with fabric die. This was with use for 4 times a month, washed after every use. The fabric is much softer, I have died them twice with black fabric coloring die and they look fabulous. I am hoping they last a few more months. Over all not a bad every day apron. Update a year later A year has gone by and the aprons are now starting to show ware, two out of the five have small holes they are forming in spots on the chest and strap area. I have used fabric die to keep them black and they look good. Overall I have been happy with this apron and its quality. I have just ordered new ones from the manufacturers web site, On the website they have a wider selection. I think for home use this apron will suite the the home chef, dad will love this as King of the BBQ and Mom will think she looks and feels like Julia Child. As for the reviewer who had issue to how to wash the apron, I found washing the aprons easy. Cold was and I use plant-based "Amazing whip it!" to remove stubborn food stains and grease stains. I have bought several of these aprons for my significant other, whom is a chef. This is the only apron that he wears due to its' durability and length. He is 6'1 and often finds it difficult to find aprons that are the appropriate length for his height. Whomever designed the pockets and loops obviously understood what tools a chef needs and where they need it because it has the perfect spot for tweezers, towels, sharpies, etc. Most of the stains do come right off and the apron is somewhat water resistant as well which is very helpful when you have to jump back and assist the dishwasher from time to time. ... show more

Was hesitant and did not have great expectations. But when it came, I was very surprised. Material was thick and sturdy. Good sizing for bigger people. I use mine for ceramics, but am going to order 4 the kitchen. Definitely recommend

Great apron with very long ties that allow you to tie and untie from the front, even if you are a larger person. I'm a guy who loves to cook and am fairly large and this apron fits great!

These are heavy, strong and look well. These hold up to spills and stains. Cover me well and are long also. Been using them at work and are better than the thin aprons. Liked these so much I bought 2 to have as backups.

I work in a very busy professional kitchen environment and liked the idea of having extra pockets to keep certain tools at hand. The chest pocket keeps my sharpie, prep list, and a small flashlight (for checking through dark coolers) ready and secure. I found the tong holster to be especially helpful during service to avoid wasting precious seconds looking for that set you put somewhere... I was so impressed with the way the apron fit and handled that I decided to order a second one. However! I believe I received the standard "bib apron" this time around as opposed the the "chef's bib apron" the difference between the two is striking. Cheaper material and a much shorter cut (both length and widthwise), swapping front pockets for my beloved tong holster. The aesthetic is there but the functionality is not as well suited for being on the line. Needless to say I wish I was more cautious in purchasing a backup. Fantastic quality. I use this for roasting coffee and use a brush to get the grinds off. Looks like the only negative review here was after washing it so maybe something to look out for if you work in a commercial kitchen or get lots of food/debris. But overall a really nice thick canvas. Definitely worth your 30 bucks ... show more

Its heavy, and a bit warm on the line, but it also doesnt show grease, and is very protective from splashes when you are filtering the fryer at the end of the night. I use the little loop to hold a dry towel, instead of tucking it in the straps.
