I initially purchased this when I was about to BBQ for 15 of my relatives. It wasn't so much about protecting my clothes while cooking but more of a way for me to keep some tools around me at all times and have a towel ready around my waist. I looked far and wide on Amazon for an apron that would suit my needs. I'm a guy so I didn't want a girly apron on me (at least not when guests are over). From all the ones I saw, from the full apron to these half aprons, I fancied this one more than the others. I like the length, pockets and simple style. The length of it comes right down to my knees. The strap is very long and it can easily wrap around my waist once with plenty of strap left over (my waist is 31"). The two seperated pockets makes it comfortable to organize my tools and I can hang a towel over the strap. Needless to say, this fits my needs perfectly and now I've started using it for regular cooking as well since it comes in so handy. Great product, highly recommend. ... show more

I love this apron, since I work around a lot of salads and oils the black helps stains not show. The pockets are perfect and I like the length of this apron. It washes well and holds up to lots of use.
