This chef jacket is made from a durable feeling fabric that doesn’t feel very comfortable, however I think this jacket would look so good starched up for an event. The jacket is double breasted with two rows of buttons going down the front. The sleeves are open and have a slit in them for comfort. There’s a little pocket on the front that can be useful. I’d say this one is ok in my book. It depends on what you’re looking for. It looks very nice.

I'm in the kitchen a lot and there's a reason you don't see chef's wear just an apron. Aprons are great for baking, but for cooking, having a chef's jacket is a game changer. I'm 5'2" and picked up this black chef jacket in medium and it fits perfectly with ample space across my chest and when cuffed once, the arm length is just right. It comes just past my hip bones, so definitely protects my clothing from counter abuse. The fabric isn't bulky and I don't overheat from wearing it. I love that it's not only very affordable, but that splashes don't immediately soak through. I did notice it easily attracts lint and hair, so the next time it's washed, I'll try using my fabric softener specifically designed to repell lint and animal hair.

My husband likes to wear a jacket when he cooks instead of an apron. When I saw this, I knew he would love it. I ordered the black one since it wouldn't show stains. He absolutely loves this jacket. There's a pocket on the sleeve along with a small pocket on the jacket for whatever you need it for. It's has a nice fabric and it washed up perfectly with no shrinkage. He's always wears a large and that's what I ordered and it fits perfectly. He said it feels like a "tailored fit". It's long enough and he'll roll the sleeves. There's an extra button on the inside tag. It's a great jacket and perfect for grilling or baking.
