My husband LOVES to cook. He thinks it's a fun release after a day of work. I LOVE that he loves to cook because it means I don't have to. However, his passion for cooking has led to many a food-stained shirt, ruining a large part of his wardrobe over time. When I decided he needed to graduate from his aprons to something with more coverage, I had a number of requirements for my purchase: reasonable price, the right sizing, and short sleeves. I didn't want to spend too much on our first purchase of a chef coat, in case he decided he didn't like wearing it to cook. He's a big, tall guy, so sizing is important. Finally, we live in State 48. It's always hot, and cooking only adds to the heat around here. There's no way he would voluntarily wear long sleeves in the kitchen. I gave it to him for Christmas and he loves it. He's worn it almost every day and it's saving his clothes. It's a great fit, and the added vent, in addition to the short sleeves, means he'll still be wearing it when the eternal summer arrives sometime next week. ... show more
