Fits weird. Tapers in the middle. Diagonal zipper looks pronounced. Makes me look incredibly feminine the way it accentuates shoulders and hips 😂. I can't wear this in public. And the fabric feels super, super cheap. Like a free flag at parade or something. Every time I don't buy chef works, I hate it. Why do I do this? Don't buy this junk. I love to cook and while I specialize in a wide range of items, keeping my kitchen clean is clearly not one of them. I’ve always preferred a nice chef jacket over an apron as it keeps me clean and has the added benefit of making me look like a pro. This is a nice chef coat… The fabric is thick and durable and easy to clean (and I’ve really tested this). It seems to repel splatters and spills better than others I’ve used. It’s generously cut, fits well, and is quite comfortable to wear in my messy kitchen. It has pockets everywhere you’d expect, and the vented side panels make it cooler to wear while providing a little extra stretch when needed. The coat features a sturdy zippered front for easy on and off which allows you to open it up a bit for a more casual look and better ventilation. And for me, perhaps its best feature is that it cleans up perfectly in my washer after dinner has been served. It comes out of the wash looking like new. ... show more

I originally got this chef’s jacket for a Halloween costume, but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. The material feels durable yet comfortable, and the fit is better than I expected. The breathable side panels really help keep you cool, which is a thoughtful touch. It looks professional enough that I definitely see someone using it in a real, professional kitchen. In fact, it looks so sharp that I think I could even wear it as a casual (albeit unusual) shirt, as long as I had an undershirt underneath! The mesh panels on the sides are very breathable and extremely stretchy, although a bit thin. The loop on the back of the collar for securing your apron is a nice feature.
