This is a true champagne color, as you can see in the picture my shoes were a slight rose champagne color. It still all went really great together. The bag is very soft, perfect size for the wedding, opened and closed securely, and looked high quality.

The satin fabric of the bag is of great quality. Thick and resistant to snags. I partied all night with it and it held up beautifully. The color saturation of the red was perfect and against my dark dress was a perfect pop of dramatic color contrast. Notes: The magnetic closure is strong but doesn't form a complete closure because there are only two magnets. Don't turn the bag upside down or small items can fall out. There was a strong chemically smell that dissipated after a week of airing out and adding a few drops of perfume to a tissue that I kept inside the bag. I wanted a "dumpling" clutch so I altered it slightly. First I colored over the gold closure with nail polish to match the fabric color. There is something about the gold tone that detracted from the elegance. Then I added a stitch to the bottom and top corners to round the shape a bit. See pics I can hardly sew on buttons so if I could do it, anyone can! The fabric is well lined and has just enough structure to it to hold the dumpling effect without becoming too slouchy looking. The chain is nice with more elegant looking clasps than other similarly priced bags, but I didn’t use it because I wanted a clutch. Under my arm or in my hand as a clutch this was light and comfortable. Got lots of compliments and questions about where I got it. Overall a fantastic buy. ... show more

Cute clutch for events. Took to a wedding, nice size, especially like that I could put my phone in it and plenty of room for a small wallet, lipsticks, and tissues/personal products. I wish the fabric were higher quality (has a sheen to it yet it is thin) but for the price it makes sense. I will only use for special occasions. Once aired out overnight, it had no smell. Very light in weight. It has a strap that would make it more comfortable to lug around, but I think I lost it? That is on me! I appreciate that it has a strap and a place for it to convert. Overall super happy and does the job! Carries everything I need for formal events. Photos show one with my hand and one with a lipstick in it for size reference. The Navy Blue clutch is really nice with a goldtone clasp and a really nice goldtone twisted rope chain that's detachable. The chain alone makes the purchase worth it to interchange onto other clutches that came with cheesy silver tone cheap-looking chains. It's roomy enough to hold your bulky cell phone, a small brush and some makeup plus a zip pocket for money (what's that?), ID, and credit cards. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Update 9/2022: I love this bag! I'm getting ready for an outdoor wedding this weekend, and this holds so much without looking stuffed. I ordered a black one today because I realized I'd feel sick if I needed a black clutch and could no longer get this one. The morning before a wedding, I realized I needed to bring a few more things and the very small clutch I'd planned to use wouldn't work. I checked stock for local department stores online - nothing "right." I searched on Amazon, filtering by "one day delivery" and this looked like it might work. It arrived on time and was way better than I'd hoped. It's a nice neutral color (I took this picture against a white towel to try to show it as true as possible), it held a lot, and just looked nicer than I expected. I tucked the chain in for the ceremony, but used the chain later. The chain is just a little longer than I'd prefer, but not terribly long. It could be shortened easily enough with a few minutes and a pair of pliers. The magnetic closure is very strong. Because the color would go with a lot, and doesn't read as "summer only," I'm sure I'll be using this again. Bonus for me, the bag matched my dress and shoes unbelievably well. ... show more

I ordered this clutch as it is a simple yet classy design. Upon timely receipt, I examined the item for any defects. Unfortunately I noticed that the pleats are uneven on both sides. Also, the item looks "smooshed" towards the bottom. Currently I am waiting for an exchange to be processed. The replacement is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, so I will update this review after inspection. Update: My message about the poorly manufactured item was responded to by the vendor with a suggestion on how to "fix" the uneven pleats (by stuffing the clutch with things). The uneven stitching cannot be solved by putting things into it as the structural integrity of the clutch is constructed with a stiffer material, which means the draped fabric on the outside cannot be consequentially shaped by any personal effects it contains . Note: The clutch arrives, stuffed with paper to preserve the shape. The issue is not the shape itself, but the stitching and cut being uneven, which results in a product looks like it is of low quality. The replacement arrived today, and though it looks better than the first received item, it still looks asymmetrical. As it is an inexpensive purchase, I guess I got what I paid for. (First photo with clutch in lap is the original order. The other is the replacement/exchange.) ... show more
