Love the color of Pillow Talk. Perfect goes with everything neutral with a feminine feel! The mascara was a bit flaky but everything else in the set was great! Made me a Charlotte Tilbury fan for sure!

I was really impressed with this kit, the liner, lipstick, and eyeshadow was chef’s kiss. The mascara was not my favorite, it didn’t do much for me, although I did notice a slight lift in my lashes when I used it. But nothing extravagant. However, the lip liner and lip stick were amazing. The liner has great staying power, it doesn’t budge once applied, and the lipstick is similar. The lipstick went on extremely smooth and creamy but gave a soft pouty matte look. But it didn’t look dry at all. My lips actually stayed moisturized and soft. The combo was giving soft 90s pouty pink and I was Loving It. Now the eyeshadow surprised me, cream eyeshadows never work for me but this one glides on smooth and blends very well, and has a beautiful pigment to it. It blends evenly and has a gorgeous lowkey shimmer and the shade of pink is very beautiful and dreamy. I was also able to use this a nice blush as well.

I have never tried Charlotte Tilbury make up before, I thought this kit would be a wonderful way to sample it and see if I liked it. I will say that pink is definitely not a color that I normally purchase, and everything about this kit emphasizes the color pink. I would consider the colors closer to mauve, but maybe that’s splitting hairs. The first thing that it comes with is a lip liner, which is creamy and smooth, and just a tad bit darker than the lipstick. I thought it would be too light on me as I normally prefer berry tones, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. The second item in the kit is mascara, and as an FYI I don’t have a lot of lashes, but this did better than average on the sparse ones that I do have. I really will not fault it for any problems on the mascara front due to the fact that my lashes are so thin. The real prize for me was the discovery of the lipstick. It is a deep mauve, at least as I said that’s what I would consider the color to be, and I absolutely love it. This is not a color I would’ve ever picked out for myself, but it is a color I plan to chase down. It’s the perfect balance between having a full dressed lip and a naked lip where you look just made up enough. And it smells wonderful! It seems odd to say the lipstick smells good, but everything in this kit smells heavenly. The last little pot is for a blush and eyeshadow cream which looks fantastic on both eyes and cheeks. This is a little kit that you could throw in a make up bag and in a pinch have enough to wake up in the morning, spend five minutes on and feel at least made up enough to go out and face the day. Charlotte Tilbury is a midscale cosmetic brand, and one that I would purchase again. The products are obviously good-quality, the pigments are rich and the colors beautiful. I can honestly find no fault with this and would definitely purchase it again. .
