This is colorful and charges controllers, headphones, and cools my Xbox. Love it! You have to move the controllers a bit to make it charge. Push down a bit. Not too rough. It will happen. You don’t want it just barley hanging on anyway!

I sure hope that the air flow underneath is what’s pushing out all that really hot air, cause man, a brand new series X and it gets pretty hot while using the cooling station and playing an online multiplayer game with 127 other players in one big map. Not as warm without it, but still pretty warm. I learned a lot since starting out with Xbox 360, and now I’m all for extra cooling fans. Helps to prolong and preserve their lives. Unlike the other reviews, I can say that I don’t find the fans to be excessively loud at all or all that strong at all in my opinion. My 360’s is 5x louder. (Which is why i question why the top of the console gets so hot) my controllers do charge in both ports just fine. However, we’re still dealing with usb type A power speed, I believe. Not just usb c technology. So it will still take a while. Precisely why I have a second controller to alternate, and even a $10 oem power cable; incase I forget or can’t get it to charge for whatever reason. Even though they come almost charged, it still will take a little while until it’s as charged as it’s gonna get. The lighting is a cool touch, pretty bright though, so that may be distracting when playing at night or in general with the patterns. You can turn it off too. By default it’s off. Turn it back on and it should default back to what you last changed it to. The only way to actually turn the station completely off is by unplugging it from the back of your console. Otherwise the little green charge LEDs will stay on like the instructions state. It would be really nice if the fans kicked on by themselves, when it got warm enough, and turned off when it cooled enough. After all, my Xbox 360 has that technology… Not sure why their description states that the side fans are for the controllers so they don’t over heat after long hours of playing. (Those are what sucks air in and pushes it out through the corners of the series x, due to the factory heat dissipation stand pad.) I’ve never heard of such a thing. Perhaps when it’s a hot day and it’s hot in the room you’re in and your hands heat them up yeah sure; but I don’t forsee that ever being a problem. Overall it seems to be a pretty neato station. Especially if you’re wanting to or need to compact your storage space.

Trash! Looks good but fan is a turd. After about 5 min of run time the fan started rattling like it was hitting something. The only way I could get it to stop is by hitting it very hard. The lights would stay on even after the Xbox was off. Eventually the fan would stop running as if it got stuck. I could dislodge it by hitting it again. When this became normal, I decided to throw it in the trash and leave a review. Don't waste money on this one.
