Nowadays, it seems like every brand of sweatpants uses the thin, closed-loop drawstring where you get a loop in front instead of two open ends. While it prevents the ends from being sucked into the waistband, the looped style can come loose inside and they're basically unfixable (at a reasonable price). SO... That's what makes the traditional drawstrings of these sweatpants such a find! They're the classic, thick drawstrings we're all used to. If I had any criticism, it would be that they could make drawstrings about 2" longer on each end, so minus one star. The material is thick and soft to the touch, but not "foofy." In other words, the material is not rough and cheap, nor is it too fluffy and flimsy. It's just right. These sweats also have POCKETS, which is a must-have if you're wearing them to run errands, etc. At the great Amazon price, I will be buying more. ... show more

These were for my son, they fit a bit large for. Medium but he likes them baggy. They’re thinner sweats, so probably good in warmer weather. Basically as described.

Got this pair for my fiancé. I'm so glad I was able to find this exact pair of Champion sweats, the fiancé had this exact pair for the last 5 or 6 years and they were their favorite pair. They wore them until the seams were coming undone and tearing apart and I couldn't sew them back together anymore lol. I've been scouring the internet trying to find them again and I couldn't even seem to find them on the official Champion site, not in Big & Tall sizes anyway. The first pair I ordered got stolen off my porch but Amazon was amazing and sent another pair to me that same day. You should've seen how happy they were when I surprised them with these, I'll make sure to buy them more than one pair of these. They're going to wear these until they fall apart again and I'd at least like to have them own more than one pair to alternate between lol ... show more

I’ve been wearing Champion sweatpants in various forms for decades. Durable, reliable, well made, no nonsense athletic wear. It was finally time to refresh the wardrobe, so I picked these out as one of my replacements. Great one day shipping by Amazon, but boy was I surprised when one leg of the sweatpants was at least 3/4” longer than the other! Quality control seems to have disappeared at Champion. Hoping the replacement isn’t worse - maybe one leg will be for short sweatpants and the other for long sweatpants! Update: Rating raised to three stars for the replacement pair at least having the same leg length. But Champion still takes the hit for poor quality control. ... show more
